26 May Melissa & Sean’s Delta King Wedding in Old Sacramento

A sunset wedding on a river boat on a warm October evening, yes please! Melissa and Sean were married on the Delta King in Old Sacramento in October of 2016. The Delta King is a historic riverboat complete with a vibrant red paddle wheel that contrasts nicely with the white exterior.  The couple were married on the ship’s deck under billowing white canvas shades with the Sacramento River and Tower Bridge in the background. The soft pink and white flowers and the blush colored bridesmaids dresses and Melissa’s blush colored sash gave a warm glow to the whole ceremony that added to the charm and romance. The couple included a traditional tea ceremony as a way to honor Melissa’s heritage, which we thought was a nice touch. The rest of the evening was spent dancing, toasting and congratulating the couple. We were very happy to photograph this couple and capture their special day!
