10 Aug Nicole & Royce’s Wedding at Vizcaya

Nicole & Royce were introduced to each other through their mutual friend, Farrah, who was a long time family friend of Royce. She fully disclosed in her maid of honor toast that she knew when she met Nicole that she would be perfect for Royce and “immediately started scheming” to get them together (even though they were both seeing other people at the time). We have to hand it to Farrah, she knew it was meant to be! So, thanks to Farrah, we had this gorgeous wedding at Vizcaya in Sacramento to photograph! Not only did we get a chance to take a few photos at Vizcaya with a classic Lincoln, but we took the couple to the Tower Bridge and a few other areas around Sacramento to get a great variety of shots. They are a very fun couple and their love for one another was evident through the entire day, as the photos and their short wedding film shows! We especially liked Royce’s reaction when seeing his bride during the First Look, he was genuinely wowed and how could he not be? We have to say, though, that he looked pretty sharp himself.

Their whole wedding was beautiful and full of simple elegant details. From Nicole’s chic layered gown to the bridesmaids full length black dresses to the all white bouquets and boutonnières, nothing was overdone, but felt classic and luxurious. The ceremony was on the patio at dusk and the soft warm light from the string lights and lanterns lining the aisle was incredibly romantic and inviting. They had gold accents throughout the ceremony and reception that were both simple and elegant. It was an exquisite wedding and we hope the best for Mr. & Mrs. Mace!
